is to be donated to Ian Rennie at Home

There are I know many, many deserving charities.

I personally support Age UK {formerly Help the Aged} and Diabetes UK all year through as they are both causes very close to my heart.

However; this year sadly a wonderful mama left her boys and husband far too early...Ian Rennie were there to make her final days as peaceful as possible.

I'll be taking these into her place of work, the November Vintage Fair and anything left will be taken to the florist where my eldest works

Fonzy, my youngest started nursery a couple of weeks ago which has been wonderful for us both!

He LOVES it, much to every-ones surprise he settled without tears from day 1 which was a huge relief and meant I felt no guilt about coming home and having a bit of 'me' time. 2 hours a day without little people around is surprisingly looong!

This last week I've spent that time making the Priddy Priddy hearts...a great success last year they raised funds for #2 daughters school.

Determind to stash bust as much as possible, this year I have these to show for my efforts...

the grey ones might just be my favourite this year...

although I can't decide if the cream button or

the turquoise are my favorite!

In real life the blue is the turquoise that Im 'colour loving' at the moment...however the red and cream are both classics

And the red hearts match the homemade Christmassy bunting that goes up on Loopy's birthday at the begining of December and mark the start of our Christmas preparations...

...'tis a tuff choice!

Candle-light

Oh how pretty!

I found this in the back of a cupboard, bought as a prop for Priddy Priddy Vintage but stuffed to the back of a cupboard when it didn't work as I wanted it to...

It gives of a lovely glow and even heats the room up!

Inspired by my sister I have been re-purposing a few spare jam jars...I have a LOT of jam jars and a hefty number of Vintage Kilner jars.

The Bonne Maman jam jars house my buttons, sorted into colours they are a wonderful rainbow of yumminess...the more jam we eat the more refined the rainbow becomes, tonal colours *sigh*  

Other Bonne Maman jars have been put to good use this year to keep the home-made preserves/relish more managably sized {less waste}

The Vintage Kilner jars are another matter though...I 'like' them too much to actually use them and they are pretty large too; so a bit big for my jams etc!

So back to spare jam/pickle jars...

after spending a couple nights enjoying the candles I am running low on supplies of this size candle!

They come from Ikea {where else} and as 

A) I don't plan a trip this side of Christmas {unless I nip in whilst at the Milton Keynes Vintage Fair?}

and B) no other candle seems to fit...

I want to try to save them.  

All very good but I still want candle light, so I've been stash busting

Leftover linen, a snip of ribbon, the odd button and hey presto...
